Introduction

Project Mission

This website will feature my journey through the different game engines I will be exploring, providing tutorials and helpful information along the way. The main goal is to determine wherever it is viable to test the same idea across different game engines in order to get a grasp of which engine will best fit the needs.

The content you will find on this website can come helpful to indie game developers or people that are just starting out as I am coming into this with little prior experience. For each game engine I will provide a rating for its difficultness as well as its limitations, which gives the reader a quick overview of each engines. I will document every step of my process so the reader can get a feel of what it would be like going into each engine.

To ensure the test is fair through out, I have created a scenario which utilities common tools a developer would commonly used. The scenario takes place in a forest featuring a campfire that is active and the goal is to put out the fire. I have kept it brief to give myself some space to work with the different engines as mentioned before I don't have a lot of experience.
